Memorial Day Weekend

We had a great Memorial Day weekend. Saturday was our lazy day. We worked in the yard Sunday and ate at Olive Garden for dinner. A parade and more yardwork on Monday and then a cookout and swim party at Jordan & Jen's. Very fun! Too many calories! Pictures are in the May 2009 folder of the photo gallery.

A visit with Baily

My nephew Baily is home this week from the Navy. We had dinner with him while he told us stories about his experiences. He actually had to clean the bathroom with a toothbrush because he laughed at his superior when they yelled at him. I thought that only happened in movies.

Another high point of the night was the bike ride Jonah and Poppy took around the block.

Several pictures from the evening are in the May 2009 folder of the photo gallery.

Jude Update

Just a quick update on Jude...

He had a doctor's appointment yesterday. He weighs 14 pounds, 6 ounces. He's gaining weight nicely and is doing fantastic. His laryngomalacia is definitely not getting worse as they were sure it would. It's getting better everyday. He is smiling, laughing and jabbering all the time and is rolling over to his side. He isn't sleeping through the night every night, just here and there but is only up once.

Enjoy the pics!

Food & Fun

Our friends Casey & Va Nia and their 2 year old son Bayden are visiting from Michigan this week. We had a cookout on Sunday and visited the Boonshoft Museum yesterday. Very much fun! Lots of pictures in the "May 2009" folder of the photo gallery.

Our Deck

Once there was a window and a boring backyard...

Then there was a mess...

Now we have a deck and patio doors...

Mother's Day

We had a great Mother's Day weekend. We planted flowers and went out to eat. It was wonderful. Adam insisted that I have a Blizzard from Dairy Queen and not count the Weight Watchers points!
