The Parade Party Report

Thank you to everyone who attended Jonah's 5th birthday celebration.  He had such a wonderful time and so did we.  Maybe this is something to be debated, but I think this was the best party we've ever thrown.  It was less insane than usual and no one had the crazy eye.  I'll call it a success.

We were very rushed to get the party set up that morning because the rain didn't stop until about 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the party.  Such a bummer, but we have very few pictures of the decorations and they were pretty awesome.  There were tons of decorations everywhere but oh well.  We even cut "5's" and stars out of watermelon and cantaloupe.  You can catch a glimpse of a few things in the background of some of the pictures.

The parade was a huge hit.  We decorated the bikes with tassels, balloons and streamers and rode around the block.  The kids were thrilled to ride in the street.  They were troopers too because our neighborhood block is hilly and the longest block in history.  Everyone was sweaty and tired by the time we returned.
